1.     Greater Philadelphia Christian Writer's Conference (regional), Philadelphia Biblical University, Langhorne, Pennsylvania.  In operation for almost thirty years, this regional conference attracts national best-selling authors, editors, publishers, recording artists, and publishing agents for the sole purpose of honoring God through the gift of writing.  Experienced industry professionals share their knowledge with new writers over a three day time period.  It is held on the second weekend in August each year.  Teaches: 'Working with the Media,' 'Book Promotion,' and 'Start to Finish for the First-Time Author.'

2.     Memphis Black Writer's Conference and Southern Film Festival (national), Memphis, Tennessee.  Member: International/Christian Executive Advisory Board & 2007 Author's Hall of Fame.  This national writer's conference is held on the fourth weekend in April of each year.  Saturday morning events begin with a prayer breakfast featuring Christian authors, musicians, and ministers.  Join us!

3.     Black Writer's Alliance of Prince George's County, Maryland.  Each year, BWA hosts a seminar/workshop on behalf of the readers and aspiring writer's who live in the Prince George's County community.  Well received by one of the country's most popular and professional bookstores - Karibu Books - the event draws a plethora of interested citizens.  Teaches: 'The State of Christian Publishing.'

4.   Capital Book Fest, Largo, Maryland (Washington, DC Metropolitan area).  Each year, the Capital Book Fest, sponsored by The Washington Post newspaper, is held on the first Saturday in October and includes author readings, panels, cooking demonstrations, writing and publishing workshops, poetry performances, home-buying seminars, children's storytelling, and exhibitors.  This event is produced by Kwame Alexander and Carla Nelson.   Teaches: 'From Start to Finish for the First-Time Author.'

5.   National Christian Writer's Workshop and Book Expo (national).
The mission is to build a legacy for adult and children literacy that will last forever. 6.    Word Power International Black Book Festival (London England).
London's leading African/Caribbean Independent Bookshop hosts this annual international book festival for authors of all genres.  Held in October of each year, to coincide with Black History Month in the United Kingdom, this month-long event celebrates writings by a plethora of authors from around thw world..Teaches:

7.    Write to Read Conference & Book Fair (Greater Milwaukee. WI metro area).  Held in conjunction with several local elementary and middle schools in the city of Milwaukee, selected regional and national authors willingly participate in this unique conference to educate young people about potential career paths as writers.  Well organized and dynamic in nature, this annual conference and book fair affords Christian writers to celebrate their love for the Lord in the public school setting.  Teaches: "Writing as a Career Choice."
